WOOLRICH

Woolrich is the oldest American manufacturer of outdoor clothing, famous for the famous Parka known in all the way for its qualities and characteristics.

Woolrich is the oldest American manufacturer of outdoor clothing; founded in 1830 in Pennsylvania by John Rich and Daniel McCormick, in order to manufacture clothing fabrics for hunters, woodcutters and trappers. It became historic for Woolrich's first Arctic Parka, produced in 1972 to dress the thousands of American workers who arrived in Alaska to build a large oil pipeline, the Trans Alaska Pipeline. According to Woolrich's philosophy, historical garments must never be completely reinvented, altering their originality, but rather improved by the choice of new materials, season after season.
